For those of you that are from Glasgow, or are going over for a visit, there are too many burger joints to choose from! So here are the top 10 to get you started, the rest is up to you!

10. Smoak

Smoak is a Texan-style restaurant that serves burgers like smoked BBQ brisket, pulled pork and tacos!

9. Hard Rock Cafe

The famous Hard Rock Cafe, which can be found in 60 countries around the world, opened in Glasgow in 2013: and they brought their famous burgers with them!

 

It all started in London when Eric Clapton hung his guitar on the wall of his favourite burger joint!

 

Although a bit pricey, the portion size and quality is well worth it!

8. BrewDog

Although BrewDog is known for their beer, their food menu is delicous, if not a little short. The burgers themselves are fantastic, although you should be warned that they serve tortilla chips instead of chips...

7. Bloc

Bloc is a favourite of the students in Glasgow, with their £3 classic burgers on Tuesdays.

 

These burgers are famous for being extra sloppy though, so it might not be the place for a first date...

6. Inn Deep

Inn Deep is not only a great burger joint, but is situated in a beautiful part of town on the bank of the river Kelvin.

 

Not only do they do a good burger; they have a massive variety of meat and vegetarian toppings so you can mix and match away 'til your heart's content.

5. Lebowskis

Lebowskis made burgers a thing before the hype erupted all over Scotland. 

 

If you're looking for a relaxed evening in comfortable, laid back surroundings with feel-good food, then Lebowskis is for you.

4. Buddy's BBQ & Burgers

Sitting a little bit further out than the city centre, Buddy's is a Glasgow success story that deserves a visit, after having progressed from an overrun takeaway to a huge American diner.

3. Jacker de Viande

Jacker de Viande describes itself as 'Cocktails, Meat... and Love'. But be aware: this burger joint is not for the faint hearted. The decor is slightly madman, with the walls covered in red splatters and the severed pig's head sculpture in the corner. 

 

Aside from the quirky design, their burgers are tasty and inventive.

2. Burger Meats Bun

The two chefs that run Burger Meats Bun used to work in a Michelin starred restaurant, so naturally, the food is focussed on quality instead of your normal cheese covered burger that is dripping with grease. 

 

Add these burgers to a couple of beers or cocktails (yes, they serve cocktails ladies!) and you are set for a great meal.

1. Nice 'N' Sleazy

Nice 'N' Sleazy boasts of its buckfast cocktails, which is all just part of their charm...
